Productivity-enhancing  AI solutions

When delivering products and services, numerous steps are involved in workflows from beginning to end. To provide answers to questions, we often exchange information via emails, WhatsApp messages, meetings, or phone calls, which may then become inaccessible to other parties. This lack of access is not productive.

Office organizations spend a significant portion of their budgets on communication, task organization, control, and requesting data from other databases. By connecting smart contracts and Generative AI (GenAI) to rich blockchain datasets and transparent algorithms, we can achieve far more with fewer resources. If organized properly, data-driven GenAI can enhance the productivity and privacy of office workers while also helping to reduce misinformation and hallucinations.

AI refers to systems (machines, computers) that exhibit intelligent (human) behavior by analyzing their environment (text, audio, video etc.) and, with some degree of autonomy, can take action to achieve specific goals.

Fascinating data world
Data plays a crucial role in most decisions we make in our lives and work. This underscores a gap in our understanding of what data truly is and how we can best organize supply and demand. Major social challenges such as climate change, inequality, future pandemics, the influence of tech companies, disinformation, polarization, and shortages in housing-, labor markets and public sectors can be addressed effectively through the appropriate use of data. Here, we are emphasizing not only big data or local datasets in HR management (HRM), customer relationship management (CRM), or accounting systems but also comprehensive data in a shared, secured, and accessible ledger (shared reality, think of a blockchain). Students, entrepreneurs, managers, and professionals must delve into the fascinating world of data and improve their data literacy. The focus should be on utilizing modern organizational science, particularly collaboration in ecosystems with innovative business and operating models, alongside data technologies such as the Internet of Things, tokenization, blockchain, rich data, data logistics, smart contracts, and artificial intelligence, which collectively form what can be called the digital assembly line.

Digital waste
An increasing number of organizations are becoming data-driven. Many information workers spend over a third of their time on communication, data entry, information sharing, transactions, and control tasks. Additionally, requesting information and managing local IT systems can consume significant time, often due to uncertainty about the accuracy of the data. In the delivery of products and services, there are usually multiple actors and processes involved from the initial phase to the final output. We communicate through emails to foster a shared understanding or reality, but this information often remains inaccessible to other stakeholders, leading to inefficiencies and digital waste. It is estimated that information-intensive organizations allocate more than a third of their total costs to communication, oversight, and retrieving data from other databases. By integrating GenAI with Weconets’ rich datasets, we can achieve much more with fewer resources.

Generative AI
Generative AI, such as ChatGPT, has generated considerable attention. However, what benefit is AI if the data it relies on is unreliable? What if the learning models are biased or primarily serve the interests of the companies that operate them? On the other hand, with rich data and transparent algorithms, GenAI can perform human tasks more efficiently. Humans cannot compete with computers and fiber optic cables when it comes to producing, sorting, ranking, storing, retrieving, and distributing digital data. An algorithm can manage many more parameters, variables, values, and their relationships than humans can. GenAI predicts the next word in a sentence or answer questions based on data, training, and algorithms. In that sense, it can also plan complex staff deployment and allocation in settings such as hospitals. By applying GenAI to reliable datasets that transcend departmental and even company boundaries, we can allocate skills and capacities based on rich data, smart contracts, and a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO).
